Paul Foschino: Grand Finale Champion and 2025 Berklee Graduate

Paul Foschino, 2025 graduate of Berklee College of Music, has been making waves as a talented singer, pianist, organist, and synthesist. His musical journey is a testament to dedication and versatility, reflecting a deep commitment to his craft.


Paul's passion for music led him to Berklee College of Music, where he graduated with the class of 2025. Throughout his time at Berklee, he has honed his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, focusing on piano and vocals. His studies have provided him with a solid foundation in both performance and composition, allowing him to explore various genres and styles.


Paul’s dedication to performance is evident through his active participation in various musical ensembles and events. Notably, he serves as the keyboardist for the band Herd of Bison, contributing his expertise on piano, organ, and synthesizer to their unique sound. His collaborative efforts extend beyond the band, as he frequently performs with his brother, Thomas Foschino, under the moniker The Foschino Brothers. Thomas, a fellow Berklee alumnus from the class of 2023, complements Paul’s musicality with his skills on drums and guitar. The duo is always actively writing and performing new music.


The Foschino Brothers, have cultivated a dynamic musical partnership that blends their individual talents into a cohesive and engaging act. Their collaboration began in their early years, performing together in various settings and developing a shared musical language. Thomas, a 2023 Berklee College of Music graduate, brings his expertise in drums, guitar, writing, and rap to the duo, while Paul, contributes his skills in piano, vocals, and songwriting. This synergy has led to performances that showcase their versatility across genres (jazz, rap, R&B, hip hop), captivating audiences with their original compositions and interpretations of classic songs from their favorite artists. As a duo they performed on the All You Got Tour's Hampton Beach and Hard Rock Cafe shows. Their joint Instagram account, @foschino_brothers, offers a glimpse into their musical journey, featuring performances, behind-the-scenes moments, and updates on their latest projects.


On March 2, 2025, Paul Foschino clinched the title of Grand Finale Champion at the 14th Grand Finale Championship held at Loretta's Last Call in Boston winning a cash prize, PR package and photo shoot. Paul also won "Top star potential" and "Top Musicality" in the finale event. This annual event, organized by Performers on the Go, showcases top emerging talents, and Paul's victory highlights his exceptional musical abilities and stage presence. His performance captivated the audience and judges alike, further solidifying his reputation as a standout artist in the local music scene.​ Additionally, he had a history of performing in the event since he was a young teen, and had a goal to one day become the Grand Finale Champion.


Love for the “Whipping Post”

A hallmark of Paul’s musical identity is his deep love for the classic Allman Brothers song, “Whipping Post.” Known for its emotional intensity and intricate musicality, the track resonates with Paul on both a personal and artistic level. Whether performing it live or simply listening for inspiration, Paul connects to the song’s raw power and expressive complexity. It’s a piece that has helped shape his sound and solidify his passion for blues-infused rock—a genre where his vocal and keyboard skills truly shine.



Senior Recital

A significant milestone in Paul’s academic career was his senior recital, held on April 2, 2025, at the Red Room at Café 939 in Boston. This recital showcased a set of music that encapsulated his journey and influences during his time at Berklee. The event was a culmination of years of hard work and served as a platform for Paul to share his artistic growth with the Berklee and Boston community.


Beyond his academic pursuits, Paul has gained valuable experience working as a musician at Pace’s Steakhouse. This role has allowed him to engage with diverse audiences, further refining his performance skills and stage presence. While at home in New York they love to perform at the Bitter End.


Paul maintains an active online presence, sharing his musical endeavors and performances on social media. His Instagram account @paulfoschino features a collection of his performances, collaborations, and personal insights into his musical journey. Additionally, The Foschino Brothers have a dedicated Instagram page @foschino_brothers, where they showcase their joint musical projects and performances.


As Paul Foschino prepares to graduate from Berklee College of Music this spring, his journey exemplifies the dedication and passion required to excel in the competitive world of music. His multifaceted talents as a singer, pianist, organist, and synthesist—paired with his heartfelt connection to timeless music like “Whipping Post”—position him as a rising artist with soul, skill, and limitless potential. Prior to graduation he will be playing for heavy metal Mexican band Animal Rage and opening for Judas Priest in Monterey Stadium in Guadalupe, Mexico.
